Photographers

Ben Sowry

Ben would have to be one of the most unlikely people to take up surf photography. He is a 3rd year apprentice sparky and plays 1st grade rugby league. Ben does not only have the thighs of a horse but has spent alot of time under the water spearfishing to increase his lung capacity to boost his confidence and lack of fear in surf photography. I first discoverd Ben at my local water hole not knowing any photographer knew about it Ben was there with his camera snapping away. Ever since then we have been good friends and we try to link up before and after work. Ben also has great editing techniques at his disposal. Ben, coming from Wollongong would have to be one of the best photographers around the area for surf photography. Below is a photo he had recently run in Le Boogie. Keep up the good work Ben!

Steve Wall

First met Steve shooting at Number 2's on Anzac Day 2008. He's been a friend ever since, we have been doing some trips when ever we have spare time. Steve would be the sensible one out of the group when it comes to doing trips never wanting to do funny stuff and you do not want to get into an argument with him as he always has to have the last say. But other then that he would have to be one of the best surf photographers out there for his age, he has a number of shots that have been printed under his belt. When Steve is editing his best friend would have to be the Saturation tool. Below is one of his many shots that have been run.
