There hasn’t been much surf around as of late, so I have had to resort to surfing 2 foot slop. Recently, myself and good friend/photographer Ben Sowry headed south to find an empty peak to practice on, Nuggan was fun, but quite short of amazing. Despite this, we decided to push on to a wave that not too many folks know about. Not a soul in sight, apart from a shark which we spotted on the treck there. Being incredibly unlucky, the sun was blaring and neither of us had sunscreen to protect us from flame-like rays. When we eventually got back the car, we looked like lobsters… well, Ben did anyway.
